With his academic background of Mass Communication and Arts Administration, Gary enjoys the interesting combination in his career from running art exhibitions and marketing performing art programs to driving business growth by generating consumers demand for the brands of his clients.
Gary started his Advertising career as an Account Executive working on Unilever’s detergent account at Lintas Taipei in 1998 after spending 3 years in the arts marketing business where he found himself the increasing desire for an even more competitive and challenging lifestyle in the advertising field. Since that, Gary has been working in between Lintas/ Lowe and McCann Erickson for the past 12 years with most of IPG’s blue chip multinational clients including Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, HSBC, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Intel, and MasterCard.
As the Executive Vice President of McCann Worldgroup Taiwan, Gary’s role is to oversee the client service team and the business of MRM and Momentum as well as new business development. For the past 2.5 years in this current role, Gary has been enjoying driving better integration of all Worldgroup disciplines for IMC (integrated marketing communication) with his teams as the growth strategy and differentiator of the agency.
